I'm another user since ye olde OS 9, and I never think twice about paying for upgrades. The functionality is that useful. I've been using this app since the days of OS9 is that even possible? It is absolutely essential for getting around dialog boxes really quick plus also for fast access to favourite folders from the desktop using key commands in the Finder. Recently, a new version broke the dialog functionality in Pro Tools and I have been so impressed with developer's dedication to fixing the problem I wanted to sing his praises on here.

I have no regrets with this one. I can't help but writing a review when I see all these good reviews. It's cluttered with needless features that pop up everywhere. The only thing missing is a christmas-tree with lights and a carol going off.

Despite having all these features, it lacks the simple need for app-specific favorites. Now I have to dig into a mess of favorite folders that I cannot even organize. The app feels slow and bogs down slower macs. Do this instead: create a folder called App Favorites in your home folder, drag this to the favorites bar, preferably high up in the list. Then add aliases into this folder for every folder you need to quickly get to. You can either have a long list of unorganized folders, or you can create subfolders for specific apps, or make a sorted list with a prefix in every name connected to the intended app.

This method is smoother, quicker, cheaper and won't bog down your mac one tiny little bit. I'll give the app 2 stars for the default folder feature which is nice but still kind of useless since most apps handle this nicely themselves.
